USB Bezel.
Fully configurable USB Backlit Bezel keyboard.
Each key can be lit from a combination of Red, Green and White LEDs individually in real time as required.
USB Connection + 12VDC supply required
USB HID keymap fixed in EEPROM or configurable 'on the fly'
Configuration controlled by USB Serial Port
Each LED is brightness precision DAC controlled.
The main disadvantage of this design is that it requires an accurately recessed bezel frame to allow for the high component count on the rear of the board

Since lockdown we've been finding that working at home has its annoyances. So with that in mind we've created the 'Wibbler'.
If you are fed up with re-typing your password into your VM/Remote machine and want to keep it alive you need one of these!
This device appears as an USB CDC serial port and HID keyboard/mouse. The mouse element will 'wibble' by a pixel every 30 seconds.
The Wibbler also has the capability to type your password on insertion if you set it up that way.
The design is based on a Atmel xmega device with built in USB.
This design can also be set up as a USB to TTL serial port or a USB to I2C device.
Mischievous as we are, we have thought of a few other uses for these. if you really want to drive someone nuts you can re-program them to move the mouse and/or type words randomly.
Mean isn't it.
As yet we haven't built these features into the firmware, maybe we'll get around to it before April Fools day. So far only a few of these have been hand built here at Zenith.
